Terms & cancellation
For Tele-Therapies programmes, sessions and training. Your price, format, dates and payment schedule are confirmed in writing before a paid booking. These terms do not limit your statutory rights.
Payment
Prices are in pounds sterling. Any applicable taxes, travel costs and other charges will be confirmed before you agree to book. Pay the agreed full price or instalments on the dates in your booking confirmation. The £695 programmes offer 3 × £245 (total £735); this is more than the upfront price. Concession eligibility is agreed before booking.
Your 14-day cooling-off period
For consumer service bookings made online or by phone, we offer 14 days to cancel, starting the day after your contract is made. We offer this protection for our fixed-date live workshops too, whether or not a statutory exception would otherwise apply. Email sdevi@tele-therapies.org or support@tele-therapies.org with a clear statement that you wish to cancel; no special form is required.
To start during this period, you must expressly request an early start before any paid services begin. If you then cancel, you pay only a proportionate amount for services already delivered, with no cancellation admin fee. The cancellation right ends for a fully delivered service only where you requested early performance and acknowledged beforehand that full performance ends that right. Where required consent or information was not provided, statutory protections still apply.
We refund sums due within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice, using the original payment method unless you agree otherwise. Early-start consent is collected separately at paid booking, not by booking a free consult.
1:1 sessions & health flexibility
Reschedule free with at least 48 hours’ notice. With less notice or a no-show, the session normally counts as used. A flare-up, hospital stay or medical appointment is always rescheduled free, even on the day. If you arrive late, the session still ends at its scheduled time.
Cancelling a 1:1 programme after cooling-off
Choose a refund for unused sessions, less an admin charge of up to £50, or full credit for the unused balance towards another programme. Any admin charge must reflect reasonable actual costs and will not exceed your unused balance. Used sessions are valued proportionately at the agreed programme rate. Remaining instalments for sessions that will not be delivered stop; we reconcile any delivered sessions fairly.
Aim to complete programmes within 12 weeks of starting, with extensions agreed for illness, health-related interruptions or longer scheduled programmes. Unused sessions are not automatically forfeited.
Group programmes
Cancel at least 7 days before the start for a full refund. Within 7 days, choose a free transfer to the next group or full credit. Missed live sessions are not individually refunded; recordings are provided with participant privacy protected. Your cooling-off rights take priority where they give you greater protection.
Learning Academy
Live workshops: full refund at least 14 days before; 50% refund from 7 to 13 days before; within 7 days, free transfer to a later date. Cooling-off rights still take priority.
For recorded digital courses, the statutory cancellation right ends when streaming or downloading begins only if you expressly consented to supply starting during the cooling-off period, acknowledged losing that right, and received the required confirmation before access. Without those steps, we do not treat access as waiving your rights. Your rights for faulty or misdescribed content remain.
Corporate & NHS bookings
Business bookings require a 50% deposit to secure the date. Reschedule free with at least 30 days’ notice. For cancellation less than 14 days before, the deposit may be retained to cover reasonable losses, taking account of costs saved or a replacement booking. Other cancellation arrangements are confirmed in the written business agreement. Consumer cooling-off rules do not apply to genuine business contracts.
If we cancel
Choose a full refund for the cancelled booking or a free reschedule. Where part of a programme has already been delivered, the refund covers the cancelled, undelivered part.
Not an emergency service
Tele-Therapies supports your wellbeing alongside medical care and is not a crisis service. For immediate danger call 999. For urgent mental health help in England, call NHS 111 and select the mental health option; elsewhere use your local urgent mental health service. Samaritans is available on 116 123.
